Over the last week there have been a couple of videos posted on social media that alleged Planned Parenthood sells body parts from aborted babies. The abortion giant was quick to respond that they have never nor will they ever sell “tissue” from aborted babies, they donate it for research that is going to save lives someday. What an incredible statement to make.
While fact checking on the first video by Snopes.com was inconclusive, watching the video itself was pretty clear that in some cases, late-term abortions were turned into more of a surgery so that baby parts like the liver could be harvested for researchers. While it didn’t appear that they were selling these parts, “fair” compensation for transportation and other costs were being discussed.
The second video was clearer than the first. Again, the discussion was during a casual lunch. In this video, compensation was clearly being discussed on a per specimen basis. The woman from the abortion clinic said they could change the procedure from one type of suction to another in order to preserve more of the specimen. She called the change in procedure “the less crunchy” option. The tricky part was that the patient having the abortion is told nothing will be changed in the procedure if they donate the baby parts but technically, “the less crunchy” method is a change. Transparency issues aside, There is no more risk to the patient so not to worry.
Near the end of the video, the woman from the clinic said she would ask other clinics how they were being compensated and then get back to the “researchers”. She joked that she’s always wanted a Lamborghini.
What an injustice this is to the human race. Choice is the law but to make a choice like this is an incredibly bad choice. What makes it worse is Planned Parenthood profiting by selling dismembered baby parts under the guise of saving lives. Get your head around that one if you can. If you can’t, do something about it.
When the Roe Vs Wade decision was made, I can’t imagine that even the slippery-slope naysayers imagined we could possibly diminish the value of life to the point we have. The callous disregard for the life of the unborn baby and mother for that matter is undeniable. The fact that body parts are being sold at market prices is unforgivable. It’s time for our elected officials and society as a whole to put an end to this..
